Randall Hanley was born October 3, 1948 in South Carolina. Randall spent most of his life in Northeast Georgia. He is married to Carol Hanley and has two living children and four grandchildren. He has one son who is deceased. He graduated from Franklin County High School and received his BBA from the University of Georgia. He also received his MSA from Georgia Southwestern. His parents have attended Gateway since its beginning, and Randall has been a member since he moved here in 1994.
Randall and Carol headed the children’s ministry for approximately 12 years before taking a year off. In February of 2011, they were asked to head the children’s ministry again and presently serve in that capacity. Randall says, “Ministering to the children of our territory is a high priority for our church and to be part of that ministry is an honor for me. As elders in the children’s ministry, our efforts are mainly directed towards development of teachers. We mentor teachers and assist them in ministering to the children.”
