About Me
My wife, Marshalle, and I have been married for 12 years. We have three beautiful girls, Nyree Scott (20), Zoe Brock (8) and Asa Brock (3), and one wonderful son Tre who went home to be with the Lord in 2007.
As an elder at Gateway, I am over the Oasis Ministry which is the outreach arm of our church. I also serve in pastoral care, which includes making hospital visits, preaching funerals and conducting weddings. My hobbies include hosting cookouts and fishing, and I love to hunt.
GBF: Orlando, why is Evangelism so important to you?
Orlando: I know what it means to be bound, and I know what it means to be free. I know that God will set anybody free because He set me free. See, I came from a hard life of drugs and crime and was supernaturally delivered by the power of God on January 26, 1997.
GBF: What brought you to Gateway?
Orlando: My mom was attending church here. Shortly after I was supernaturally delivered from drugs and alcohol, I came to a Bible Study here at Gateway. On that first visit, I knew in my heart that this is where God wanted me to be and I’ve been here ever since. The mission of this church to minister to the needs of all people, regardless of race, income level, or background, has always spoken to me.
