About Me
My husband, Dave, and our two sons David and Andrew have been members of Gateway since 1996. Over the years, I have served as the GBF Youth Pastor, Singles Director, Ministry Apprenticeship Program coordinator, and Publications Team Director. I was ordained by Apostle David in 2003 and have served for many years as a prophet/teacher in the church. Currently, you can find me teaching adult classes on Wednesday nights with Orlando Brock and Andy Coker, and I am also the elder over the Gateway Publications Team. Outside of church, I am a teacher in the Franklin County School System and the Director of the Leadership Franklin Committee through the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. In 2011, I was blessed to be selected as the Franklin County Teacher of the Year, an honor I can only attribute to God’s grace and favor as I go about serving in my Kingdom assignment. For fun, I enjoy spending time with her “guys,” watching movies with friends, bird-watching, traveling, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and drinking really good coffee.
GBF: What brought you to Gateway?
Linda: In 1996, Dave and I were looking for a church where Holy Ghost had liberty to move and where people were getting born-again, set free and raised up to fulfill their God-given destiny. We were tired of listening to people talk about the power of God without any kind of manifestation of that power. From the minute we walked in the door, we knew we had found the right church home. After commuting from Athens for several months, we moved our family to Carnesville to live in and serve this community. In 14 years, we have never regretted that move!
