Apostle David & Geraldine Coker

David Coker, with his wife Geraldine, pursued God’s heart and planted Gateway (at the time called Faith Christian Fellowship) in 1987.  Since that time, the church has grown from 16 people to over 300.  This is quite an accomplishment since the church is located in Carnesville, Georgia that has a population of about 575.

 

By divine revelation, God has led David and Gateway into an understanding of His desire to restore all things to and through His church.  God is a master builder and His church must be built according to His design. God has placed Apostle David as His wise master builder in this house, and the pattern for this church comes out of him.

 

In this day, God is restoring His church to the original pattern so that He can fully accomplish His will on the earth. David’s passion is for the foundation of the apostles and prophets to be fully restored to the Body of Christ so that God can manifest His power and anointing in the believers.

Geraldine is the mother of 5 and a model mother, wife, and prayer warrior. After overcoming a severe attack of Wegner's granulomis in 1994, she was miraculously raised up and restored to perfect health. Today she works in our Daycare (Faith Christian Daycare) part time and serves as a powerful mother not only in the natural but also in the spirit to the many sons and daughters of the House.

 

Prophets Kenneth & Marie Hendrix

Kenneth, who serves as Administrative Pastor of Gateway Believers Fellowship, began his church leadership experience at age 15 as Sunday School Superintendent. He has more than 28 years experience as an anointed Bible teacher. Kenneth has a Specialist Degree in Educational Administration. He left his position as Assistant Superintendent of Franklin County Schools in 1997 and accepted the position as Administrative Pastor. He has been an active leader and support as Gateway has grown from a congregation of 40 to over 300.

Marie Hendrix has been active in multiple aspects of Gateway's growth, including developing and refining preschool, children, youth and young adult ministries. Marie has a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and manages a private practice. She is also a certified parenting coach and provides tools and resources for building strong families through her business Decoding Kids.
